I learned two new things about this film. It's one of my favorite western movies. Though, one should actually look into the diary kept by Wyatt's brother, Morgan. One thing a lot of people didn't know was that he was the spiritualist, and in his dying words actually stated that he saw no light. This was added to the script perfectly. Likewise, the death of Doc Holliday was 100% accurate in this movie. All the other Wyatt Earp movies add Doc Holliday die in a sling of gunfire. But, the truth being Doc Holliday died in a bed with his boots off, and in his hand he held a thank you note written directly by Wyatt Earp. When this was in the movie, along with many other historically factual scenes, I was sold 100. The last thing I would mention, which was excluded from this video for some reason, is that that shoot out between Doc Holliday and Johnny Ringo was one of the old west Mysteries. In the event, according to actual history, Wyatt Earp was on his way to meet Johnny Ringo. Now, I believe he was setting up an ambush, which helped him up from arriving to the shootout on time. however, take that with a grain of salt. On his way to meet Johnny Ringo in that movie famous Showdown, it was actually recorded that two shots were fired from somewhere in the thick of woods, where Wyatt Earp and Johnny Ringo were expected to meet in mortal combat, where they found Johnny Ringo laying with a single hole in his head. Like in the movie, however, that second shot was Johnny Ringo shooting into the ground. Hence, when they put that in the film, The Two Shots in the forest that no one else would witness, I knew that I would love this film more than any other Western made in that same. Of time. I wouldn't have mentioned this, unless the host of this YouTube show requested someone do so. Those would be the details that I would have included. Gotta Love history.
